Account details

Your email address and name, provided when you sign up — directly, or from your Google profile if you sign in with Google (we receive the basic profile: name, email, avatar; never your contacts, files, or mail).

Your worksheet data

The SKUs, quotes, costs, and settings you save to your account. The free worksheet's local draft stays in your browser's storage on your device until you save it to an account.

Usage events

First-party, privacy-respecting usage signals — pages viewed and features used (for example, that a sheet was calculated or a factory compare was opened). Tied to your account when you have one; used only to understand and improve the product. Our host, Vercel, also collects cookieless, aggregated visit and page-performance metrics for this site only.

Payment records

When paid plans are billed, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — only the plan, amount, and billing status Stripe reports back.

• No advertising trackers, ad pixels, or cross-site identifiers.
• No sale or renting of your data to anyone, ever.
• No analytics that follow you around the web — our usage events are first-party, and our host's site metrics are cookieless and aggregated, limited to this site.

Cookies: we set only the essential cookies that keep you signed in. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing optional to consent to.

Your data is stored and processed by the infrastructure providers the service runs on, each under their own data-processing terms:

Vercel

Application hosting, plus cookieless site analytics and page-performance metrics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights).

Neon

The Postgres database that stores accounts and saved SKUs.

Resend

Transactional email — password resets and account notices.

Stripe

Payment processing, when paid plans are enabled.

Google

Sign-in, only if you choose “Continue with Google.”

These providers act on our instructions to run the service; none of them may use your data for their own purposes.

Account data and saved SKUs are kept for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and they are removed from the live database, with residual copies expiring from backups on the providers’ standard cycles. Local worksheet drafts live on your own device and are yours to clear at any time.

Email support@trueunit.co to access, correct, export, or delete your data. We honor these requests for everyone, and we honor the specific rights granted by the laws that apply to you — including the GDPR if you are in the EU/EEA/UK (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection; you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority) and the CCPA/CPRA if you are a California resident (we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it).

TrueUnit is a business tool. It is not directed at children, and no one under 16 may use it.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we post the new version here with a new effective date and email account holders about significant changes. See also the Terms of Service.
